The barn

The old barn is such a useful space, but it was badly in need of repairs. Many of the main uprights were rotten and didn’t even touch the ground. The main door upright supports didn’t touch the ground either. We did wonder what was actually holding the whole thing up!Clive did some internal repairs using old fence posts, and it is probably going to keep standing for many more years.

We are not sure why this tatty part is there, but it makes an obvious second doorway. This end of the barn is about to become a log store.
